In 2008 I left a career in banking to follow my dream of working in the design industry and I’ve never looked back. The years since then have been interesting professionally, to find out more take a look at my resume here.
 
I am currently the head of design at BKM Creative, the design wing of Black Knight Media, overseeing diverse projects from quarterly reports and commercial property catalogues to user guides for complex financial services software and print ads for a menagerie of legal firms.
 
I am also the lead designer on two of the most prestigious magazines from the Black Knight Media catalogue with a combined readership of 48,000 subscribers; Asset Servicing Times and Captive Insurance Times.
 
My career has taken me to many places worldwide but I’ve been based in London my whole life. I think living in such a vibrant creative hub has shaped my design thinking a lot over the years. Sometimes it’s tempting to perfect a few one-size-fits all solutions to design problems and go about your day but in London there's so much energised talent that new approaches are almost literally on display around every corner.
