As a freelancer/single-person limited company I worked with various clients as a general creative artworker and designer. A key client was The Royal Society. Amongst the most significant projects was the production of the American Friends Of The Royal Society Quarterly Newsletter, design of the 2011 Computers in Schools Report and the 2012 SCORE Report - Maths in Science
I have over fifteen years of design experience working largely with Adobe Creative Suite though I have spent time using industry alternatives such as QuarkXPress, Sketch and GIMP.
I have been using InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator to a professional standard throughout my career and have an extensive understanding of the scope and limitations of these applications from low-scale digital projects to large format print.
Alongside CS I have a lot of experience working with Clip Studio as a tool for illustration and storyboarding and Corel Painter as creative device when expression is prioritised over photo-realism.
I am also familiar with motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects and Adobe Animate and I have experience working with digital editing software such as Adobe Premier Pro and Final Cut Pro.
I also have some experience working with web-design software such as Adobe Dreamweaver as well as dedicated website builders such as WordPress.
I am a keen artist and also have a great deal of experience working with traditional media such as charcoal, pencils, watercolour and acrylics and have some experience with manual screen printing.
In terms of general skills I am competent with standard professional requisites such as Microsoft Office (and its alternatives such as Google Docs or Pages) included limited work with spreadsheets.
